Stylized open shell forms cry out ambiguously when touched, invoking the position we occupy as both subjects and perpetuators of the exploitative and extractive systems we are all implicated in.This project symbolically exposes those things that are hidden beneath the surface, within protective shells, chafing tender flesh, and asks the visitor to touch those uncomfortable places.
